New Season is here! JANUARY TO MAY 2025

The Film Society meets on Friday evenings.

The Film Society exists to show critically acclaimed English language and foreign films - mostly released within the previous 12 months.

New members are welcome to join at any time in the season, at a charge of £3.00 per remaining film to the end of the season - e.g 10 films to go would be £30. please email and we will contact you. Members are able to bring guests to a screening, at a cost of £4.00 per guest.

All films are projected from DVD onto a 12' by 10' screen utilising an excellent sound system. The doors open at 6.45pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. The competitively priced theatre bar will be open and Teas and Coffee are available.

There is a loop system to help support the hard of hearing and we show subtitles for all films.

Bawtry Phoenix Film Society shares the constitution and comes under the umbrella of the Committee of Bawtry Dramatic Society, a registered charity. It is a member of the BFFS/Cinema For All and the Yorkshire Regional Group of Cinema For All.
